About the Role
We are looking for an experienced business development and marketing professional to help further strengthen our market positioning globally.
This new team member will be responsible for working collaboratively as part of the business development team based in Brussels, Belgium. If you have the experience, network and motivation to be part of our journey, we are eager to talk to you!
About You
– Ability to understand the goals of prospects and propose solutions through a consultative approach.
– Minimum 2-3 years’ business development experience preferably in the localization industry and in one of theareas: Education, Learning and Development, EdTech, Psychometric Assessments, E-learning, Surveys and/or Opinion Polls.
– Ability to demonstrate success in building network and growing business in the areas mentioned above.
– Experience in working with teams from different backgrounds and culture.
– Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, WordPress, CRM tools.
– Knowledge and interest in different cultures and languages across the world.
– Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
– Excellent interpersonal skills.
– Eligible to work in Belgium.
Your Responsibilities
– Identify, qualify and develop pipeline for prospective clients in the Education, Learning and Development, EdTech, Psychometric Assessments, E-learning, Surveys and/or Opinion Polls space.
– Foster awareness (in prospects) of capabilities, solutions, competitive advantages of cApStAn’s linguistic quality assurance services and solutions.
– Contact and meet prospects by all means: telephone, virtual and physical (meetings, conferences, seminars).
– Plan activities that lead to new business opportunities for cApStAn.
– Prepare proposals in collaboration with the business development and project management team at cApStAn.
– Propose ideas and execute plans to increase visits to cApStAn’s website and generate inbound leads through SEO, paid and organic online activities.
– Build and optimize cross-media digital campaigns (website, social media, mailers) in collaboration with the team.

Freelance Linguists
We are currently considering applications from freelance linguists for the following languages: Danish, Norwegian, Czech, Latvian, Slovenian, Arabic (Israel), Karakalpak and Uzbek
For a number of upcoming projects and to expand our database of subcontractors, we are looking for linguists in the above specified languages. These projects may include tasks such as translation, review, proof-reading, in-depth verification, reconciliation, and glossary compilation.
Requirements:
– Degree in language-related subjects;
– Professional experiences as a linguist;
– Familiarity with CAT-tools (preferably OmegaT);
– Eye for detail;
– Ability to read and follow somewhat complex instructions;
– Willingness to participate in remote, remunerated trainings, if needed
